Wire it up yourself, then use it for real. The SpyX DIY Voice Disguiser is a build-your-own kit where kids connect actual circuits to create a working voice recorder and voice changer. Plug in the modules, connect the springs, turn the disguise knob, and hear the result. Six seconds of recording, instant playback, and a voice that sounds nothing like the agent who made it.

HE LOVED IT
I would say this is a fun craft for ages 10 and up. My 11-year-old needed help doing the wiring the proper way. He initially twisted the wire together which would work but had a hard time using the springs to make the connections. The wiring is not complicated with six pieces to fit on the circuit board. The voice disguiser consists of a variable resistor that speeds up or slows down the recorded sound. It is interesting craft and if you read the instruction booklet to your child they will understand the science.
