This voice changer is a game changer.

I bought a voice changer many years ago, because I like fun gadgets. I have a 5yr old granddaughter who like them as well, so I bought her one and I tell you she absolutely loved it. Sooo… much fun. It changes just about any dull situation into a fun fill occasion.

Fun but Could be Improved

Our Little Girl finds it amusing, and I actually use it just as much as she does. The good news is that the packaging for it is really nice. Modern, cutting edge stuff that looks like the kind of toy I would have been thrilled to get as a kid. The not so good news is that the packaging is so nice that it gives you the impression that the toy is a bit nicer than it actually is. You basically have three main buttons, and a sliding switch with three options to create any one of nine different voice effects. Most of using the voice effects is trial and error. For some, you need to talk far away from the mic end. For others, you have to talk at almost a whisper, and not your regular voice. Mostly, it just reacts best to things like laughing instead of actual words. The effects are indeed fun, you just need to spend a bit of time working on them. Biggest downside? No way to lower the volume. Because it's LOUD. Which isn't so bad outside. But inside, it can drive some people up the wall. So they need to at least come up with a volume switch for it. Good toy, a fun toy, and worth the asking price. I think they could work some of the bugs out, make it even better. But I'm still glad we got it.
